Open every night from 7:00-10:30 and lunch on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00-3:00, Bimbotto is a great choice for delicious local food in an authentic setting.

Scompiglio is known for its stunning location with views of the Lucca hills and mountains, olive groves, vineyards and pastel colored houses dotting the landscape. The peace and serenity of the location is complemented by the creative food served for lunch and dinner. A tranquil 30 minute walk from Villa Michaela it is a great way to pass an afternoon. (if you go for dinner we do recommend a taxi back to the villa as the walk is not as easy in the dark.) Scompiglio is open for dinner Thursday-Sunday from 7:00-10:30 and for lunch Wednesday-Sunday from 12:00-2:30

In 1962 Gigi Trattoria opened in the historic center of Lucca. Since then they have been serving delicious Tuscan food. Their warm and welcoming interior, along with their expanded outdoor eating area are always a good place to share a lunch or dinner. One of our favorites is their sformatino. The staff is always welcoming. They accommodate gluten-free diners as well.

The owner, Pasquale, is a wine sommelier who is always ready with a perfect pairing for every dish. Paquale and his chef take traditional food to a new level with their creative pasta dishes, beautiful soups and perfectly prepared main courses. We highly recommend making reservations at this restaurant as there are rarely empty tables. When you call make sure to tell him you are staying with Vanessa at Villa Michaela. Osteria da Pasquale is open Wednesday-Monday for dinner only from 7:30-10:30.
