Rice Boi is at the Mooloolaba Wharf (5 minute drive south from the Apartment). No bookings are required and it is open for Lunch right through until late. Its the BEST Asian Fusion restaurant with a relaxed vibe in this area. The lines get very long due to its popularity if you go later in the evenings so get in early or chose takeaway.

Coffee...coffee...coffee. This little unassuming cafe just a 100 meters to the south of the Unit is a locals favourite ! They have some Cafe style meals and great Juices as well.

Whilst I would usually say stick with the Alex Surf Club across the road, if you are new to the area you really need to enjoy a beverage at the Mooloolaba Surf Club. Its an amazing Club with a view to die for and lots of local memorabilia to look at . Try the courtesy bus by calling ahead to book. Day time dining is the best so you can look onto the hive of people swimming, playing volleyball and enjoying this iconic beach.

100% Vegan. Its a 15 minute drive up the hill to Buderim but the Cafe is worth it if you are in search of plant based food. Cafe Vie is also near to a local park with a great view back over the coast

This is 10 minutes drive or 25 minutes walk from the apartment. Augellos has been around for 25 plus years . Its a great Italian Restaurant with amazing pizza. Upstairs has a view of the water .

Sightseeing
This is only a 15 minute drive from the apartment. Its a rainforest walk to a beautiful waterfall. Part of the walk is a boardwalk(suitable for mobility impaired people). The second part of the walk in over rocky, uneven surfaces (not suitable for mobility impaired people). Its a short walk (about 15 minutes each way)and you can swim if you wish at the waterfall.

In summer and spring, many people picnic in this location. Parking nearby, short walk on a path . If you are thinking of heading here , you should definitely visit the Main Street of Montville whilst you are there.

There are 2 rope swings but please take caution when the water is flowing fast . There are rocks pools to just dip your feet in the stream if you are more timid. In summer and spring, many people picnic in this location. Parking nearby, short walk on a path . If you are thinking of heading here , you should definitely visit the Main Street of Montville whilst you are there.
Sealife has an amazing tunnel where you can see Sharks and Rays swim above you. You have as long as you like to enjoy . They have a Seal show and a Penguin show. I know that Aquariums and Zoos are not everyones cup of tea but if you had to choose one to visit for half a day , this is the one. Its 10 minutes drive from the apartment with plenty of lunch and dinner options just at the wharf .

Parkyn ParadeSealife has an amazing tunnel where you can see Sharks and Rays swim above you. You have as long as you like to enjoy . They have a Seal show and a Penguin show. I know that Aquariums and Zoos are not everyones cup of tea but if you had to choose one to visit for half a day , this is the one. Its 10 minutes drive from the apartment with plenty of lunch and dinner options just at the wharf .
For the athletes , and bush walkers or those who like a challenge - Mount Coolum walk will definitely suit you. It is classed as a Grade 4 walk and the views are to die for . It takes about 45 minutes to the top and back. From the top you can see the Sunshine Coast airport, the Palmers Resort Golf Course and the ocean fromN Rosa to Mooloolaba as well as the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Its mostly steps so be prepared for a cardio workout

For the athletes , and bush walkers or those who like a challenge - Mount Coolum walk will definitely suit you. It is classed as a Grade 4 walk and the views are to die for . It takes about 45 minutes to the top and back. From the top you can see the Sunshine Coast airport, the Palmers Resort Golf Course and the ocean fromN Rosa to Mooloolaba as well as the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Its mostly steps so be prepared for a cardio workout
This is absolutely my favourite place on the Sunshine Coast . The Point Cartwright lighthouse reserve is popular with the locals for fishing , surfing , waking and bird watching . It’s the perfect vantage point to see Mooloolaba and Alexandra Headland fro a different vantage point . In whale watching season you will see whales out front .
You will need to Drive there but there is plenty of parking at La Balsa Park or the top of Point Cartwright . Whilst it has a great walking track , you won’t need to walk far to see beauty all around you
