When you feel like a good coffee with an awesome view this is the place. If you get a window seat your'e going to get Wharf Street at its best. You can watch the pelicans and the fish swim past. The breakfast menu is not to shabby either. The best plan is to book early to get a window seat, its worth it. PS Try to pick good weather, as with most water views they excel in those conditions.

The board walk starts just to the left of the cafe, so you can take your coffee walk 100 metres and sit along the river in parkland settings. Get in early at peak season or it can be a long wait

Riverside DriveNambucca Boat Shed And Cafe is another great spot to grab a coffee or brunch. Right next to the Wall Tavern is the The V Wall Cafe. It is more of a takeaway shop than a cafe, but handy if your walking the break wall and want a coffee to go. Decent coffee and great bacon and egg rolls etc.

Valla Beach has two cafes The Headland Cafe ( both have good coffee) is the first one you will drive past on the left just past the pre school its a handy place to pick up some groceries although woolies in Nambucca Heads is more economical

Shelley's a great Beach to get out of the southerly winds in autumn and winter. It has lots of amenities BBQ areas, toilets and outside showers.this beach isn't patrolled at anytime of the year but its usually a very calm bay like set up the local familys favour it as swimming spot.

Main Beach at times is a great surfing spot especially in a southerly swell and southwest wind. Right handers wrap around short headland not a long ride but it can barrell on the right tide

Swimming creek beach is our longest beach north of the river mouth, it goes all the way past hyland park and up to the creek entrance at Valla Beach. A great beach if you like taking long beach walks. You can access it from our hideaway (halfway along the Beach) via a beautiful bush walk through coastal wetland forrest.Just ask Mick for directions

Bello as the locals call it is well worth the drive. The trip takes 31 min from our home, the town is full of places to eat and shop . at the right time of the month there are markets to visit Also there's lots of freshwater swimming holes to cool off on a hot summers day.
