The closest beach to the cottage (about 20 mins' drive at low tide when you can use the tidal road) and it's a stunner! Surf and paddle board hire, glorious sandy beach perfect for kite flying and water sports.
Walk across to Burgh Island where you can walk to the top and also see the Burgh Island hotel where Agatha Christie wrote several of her novels. The Pilchard Inn on the island serves real ales, ice creams and food and dates back to the 14th century. Or the Venus Cafe on the mainland serves high quality local food and drink all day and all year round.
