We love this place! Cross the river via the stepping stones at low tide or over the bridge so you are on the opposite side to the shop. Walk down the river through the woods. There is a great spot for a picnic on the corner with grassy spaces and even a hollow tree for the kids to climb through. Ice creams, coffees, cakes and light lunches available at the shop.

If you head to the top of the woods you might be lucky enough to find the coin tree! Inkies Smokehouse serves some pretty epic food - their own smoked meats, ice creams and milkshakes are the favourites.

15 Well LnGolitha Falls are set in some really lovely woodland. It does get very busy though so you may want to visit earlier or later. If you head to the top of the woods you might be lucky enough to find the coin tree! Lansallos is a pretty cove which is good for swimming when the sea is calm. The walk down from the national trust car park is lovely, through a pretty wooded valley. The coast path is lovely here too and you can walk to Polperro or Polruan if you fancy a longer walk.

This is a beautiful bay but beware, the path up/ down is steep so wear trainers and make sure you’re up for a hike!

Looe is a pretty, bustling fishing town with a good beach, fish and chip shops and plenty to do - you can get there via a train from Liskeard which is a lovely scenic route. Great place for crabbing!

You can paddle in the water to the left before you cross the wooden bridge. Go through the gate and cross the field.
