It is a historic location home to numerous sites on the National Register of Historic Places, including: The Howe Military School, John Badlam Howe Mansion (also known as the Howe Military School Rectory), St. James Memorial Chapel, Star Milling and Electric Company Historic District, and the Samuel P. The fastest way to travel is by car

If you're looking to go slow and enjoy the sights, there are great paths, forested areas and country roads for biking, jogging, walking and hiking. There are also nearby golf cart rentals and Amish buggy & horse-drawn carriage rides. If you're biking on the roads or out for a walk/run (especially at night) be sure to use safety gear such as lights, reflective panels, and bright colors for high visibility. Be safe!
