Public transport from the apartment is good.
You will need a RavKav card or the RavKav app for the buses but you can buy train tickets with an ordinary credit or debit card.
Google Maps with the transport overlay, or Moovit are really useful for getting around and many buses have USB charging points (you will need a plug for the charging points in the train).
From Ahuza/ Migdal stop there are frequent buses into Herzliya, and going to Herzliya train station for the direct trains to Caesarea, Akko, Haifa and Ben Gurion Airport. To get to the beach take a bus to Arena Mall.
The Ahuza/Migdalstop also has a regular service into Tel Aviv.
