You will sometimes see zebra on the Hearst Ranch as you head here. Great place to enjoy the beach if others are crowded. It's right across from Hearst Castle.

This is an amazing site when the beach is packed with elephant seals. Great pictures. Bring a lunch and enjoy nature. You can even drive historic Highway 1 towards Big Sur and be back to Paso the same day.

Our absolute favorite little beach town. The gas station has THE best cinnamon rolls (I swear, but you have to get there early or they sell out). We love Duckey's for clam chowder or some french fries while walking on the beach or exploring tide pools.

Rub elbows with gangsters, politicians, movie stars... ok, that is how it was but 1122 it a great space with a friendly staff. The bar tenders will mix up any drink (old or new) and it’s a great place. Only 32 people fit in at a time, so you may have to wait a bit outside. You only get 90 minutes inside but it is worth it. Pink, the musician, has been in there a couple time, so you may rub elbows with the famous. This is our absolute favorite place to go with friends for drinks.
