Neighborhoods

Downtown Essex is a nice little town right on Lake Champlain with a Ferry that goes to Charlotte Vermont. Mostly everything in Essex outside of Downtown is very rural and agricultural based.

Consejos para la ciudad

Costumbres y cultura

Being friendly is a way of life up here, most people wave.

It’s easy to find a friendly person in this area, they’re everywhere! Most people wave, including the Amish families, watch for horse and buggy’s on the road.

Amish Horse and Buggy’s

Be mindful of Amish horse and Buggy’s on the roads, they pass by the glamp site a few times per day. At night they only use a small red lantern on the back of their buggy. Buggy’s are all completely black so they are hard to spot at night.
