These hauntingly romantic ruins are well worth a trip.
A Manor House that was recorded in the Dooms day book, it was abandoned in the 1700’s when the family were ruined by gambling debts. It was later bombed in WW2; the German bombers were actually seeking out the air base at Brize Norton (Just up the road)
