Beautiful, short hike with gorgeous high-mountain vistas from a granite dome. We love Yosemite, but the trails off Sierra Sky Ranch Road let you escape from the summer crowds and heat!

Raley's is a fantastic Nob Hill Market. Great produce and deli counter! Buy some steaks and veggies to cook on the large, Weber grill on our wrap-around deck.

If you only have time for ONE trip into Yosemite, skip the crowded Valley and head straight up Glacier Point Road. Sadly, for no hiking effort, Glacier Point has the BEST views in YNP!

We always hike the top portion of Lewis Creek (from Sugar Pine) to Corlieu Falls. It's 1.5 miles round trip and wonderfully shaded during hot summer days!
