While the fort itself is beautiful, don't miss the view from the lighthouse from where you can see endless miles of sea and sometimes dolphins! Also there is a nice walking path behind the lighthouse that leads to some beautiful tidepools.

Davide's pizzeria is a lovely place for dinner. Their pizzas and pastas are delicious and so are their desserts. The unique feature of this place is that your pets are welcome, which is great.

Terry's has very good local food and great views of the Mandovi river and the city. Of the few times we have been here, we have seen dolphins in the river about four times while eating our meal. Sip coconut fenny as you look at dolphins here!

Mapusa friday market is a great place to buy miscellaeneous items at a very good price. They have sausages, plants, Moira plantains, spices, fish, basically everything that you will need from Goa!
