A must try buffet during the summer months. Sometimes there is crab too! There is usually cod, plenty of sides, and cake and coffee in the dessert cabin. Make sure you walk in through the mine entrance and enjoy the history!

Just down the street from my place! My favorite is the smoked salmon chowder. Made to order sandwiches, soup of the day, and sometimes dessert...if there is any left! Have some coffee and relax in this casual atmosphere. A definite local favorite.

Known as “Alaska Land” by us old timers, this place changed its name years ago when people traveled to Alaska thinking it might be a theme park! Come here to see some great Alaskan history, find some unique souvenirs, play mini golf, visit that airplane museum, ride the train around the park, eat at the Alaska Salmon Bake, ride the merry-go-round, and see the USS Nenana (from the outside.).
Sometimes there are events here in the winter, but mostly shut down until summer.

Amazing little cabins next to the river. Community fireside area. Amazing food at the restaurant. If you are staying in Denali National Park I highly recommend you stay here. I go back every year and I am a local!
