I can't say enough about FloraBama! Awesome bar that is right on the beach of the Gulf of Mexico. Walk back and forth from the dance floor to the beach. This place has multiple stages and always has live bands playing, day or night. Get a box of crawfish.

Ft. Pickens is the second of two Union forts located in the South from the Civil War. Geronimo was held here. This site is awesome for exploring on foot, taking photos, and hitting the isolated beaches right near by.

Johnson's Beach is located inside the park Gulf Islands National Sea Shore. It's a 6-mile stretch of pristine white beaches, much less busy than Pensacola Beach, but there is a fee to enter.

Two Guidebooks, One City
I have included two guidebooks for Pensacola. This particular guidebook is geared towards guests with reservations near Perdido Key, as opposed to Pensacola Beach. There is another guidebook for sites located more towards the East. Both guidebooks include places that are easy to get to by car, so check them both out!
