Dining, recreation and etc. The main restaurant overlooks the lake from an indoor area on a small hill. It is open 7 days a week. Caution though, the food will either be outstanding or terrible. This place is very inconsistent. When good, the crab soup and calamari are great.
Another restaurant is near the marina and has live music often but the schedule is varied so you need to call ahead. Dining is outdoors or indoors and seasonal.

If you are heading West out of town or coming from the West, or want a 25 mile drive to Americus, the BEST FRIED CHICKEN you will ever have is in the Chevron Station. It is just a take out place and is busy with locals coming and going, but the chicken is great!
