Arts & Culture

The Kelvingrove museum is a purpose built public museum and art gallery housing the Christ of Saint John of the Cross painting by Salvador Dalí amongst other exhibits. If you can time it right, there's a daily organ recital at 1pm in the main hall which is very impressive.

The Mitchell Library is a brilliant library and houses one of Europe's largest public reference collection. It has a distinctive green dome (that reminds me of the Four Courts In Dublin), the building has been one of the city’s iconic landmarks since it opened in 1911. There's even piano practice rooms available that can be rented out by the hour. There's also a theatre and cafe on site too.
