The Hive beach cafe has the most fantastic setting. Its set on the beach at Burton Bradstock. The fish and chips is amazing, not cheap but worth the pennies as a holiday treat.

This is a fabulous walk from the cottage. You can take the bridleway down to the beach, the hills to the left are the start of the climb up to Thorncombe Beacon.
