Neighborhoods

Zona G is one of my favorite spots! Just a block away from the apartment you can enjoy a diverse list of exclusive, gourmet restaurants. From italian to Japanese, chinese, argentinian.. well you name it! I'm a foodie and Bogota is a great place to explore new cuisines and getting to know friendly locals! Very exclusive area.... Did I mention is just a 5 minute walk from the apartment? :)

Consejos para la ciudad

Costumbres y cultura

What can you expect?

Colombians and particularly bogotanos (people from Bogota) are very polite and helpful. If you come from a metropolitan city you'll adapt easily, since Bogota is a crowded, noisy city, and somewhat uncomfortable but fun! Traffic is hectic, I recommend NOT getting a car. Is best to use public transportation, Uber or taxi. I'm a local and have never dared to drive a car (That's how crazy traffic is lol) apart from the crazy traffic, the food is amazing, people is warm and welcoming! bring a few coats heaters are very uncommon and may get a little chilly! or you may opt for a shotof aguardiente
Facilidad para moverse por la casa

walking or transmilenio are the fastest ways to get around.

did you know Transmilenio is the world's largest bus rapid transport system? It is a network of buses that mostly run in their own lanes. If public transportation is not your forte, just avoid rush hour and get an Uber or a taxi. The apartment is very central so you may get to places within a quick walk in a nice cool weather.
