Garnet Avenue is in bicycle/electric scooter distance to my home and towards the beach there are a lot of bars, restaurants and life music venues. Even on a sunday afternoon this street is busy.

Although only in driving distance from my place (10 min), this bar has often life music and cultural events. Its good for Spanish food and is usually not too full, cocktails are served and the owners know a lot of artists in SD.

Sightseeing
This is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of San Diego with a stunning view, coastline and beaches. You might even spot the sea lion and pelican colony there. There are plenty of bars and restaurants with life music, and they are easy to find just by walking around a bit.

La Jolla Cove
1100 Coast Blvd This is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of San Diego with a stunning view, coastline and beaches. You might even spot the sea lion and pelican colony there. There are plenty of bars and restaurants with life music, and they are easy to find just by walking around a bit.
Its within a short drive from my home and from here you can stroll along the beach north to the little park where often free Yoga classes are held and watch the surfers from there. Or you can walk south and check out the souvenir shops and the people walking or biking along the path.

From here you can see nearly all the central SD neighborhoods and its within a short drive from my home. The views are stunning and sunset is the best time, parking is available.

This Park is in biking/electric scooter distance from my place and situated on the bay. From there you can do a whole loop around the bay and enjoy the beautiful scene of the bay, bonfires and all the different people.

Seaworld is not far from my place, has impressive shows, all kinds of exotic animals to see and a visit is very educating about sea life in general.

Getting Around
In order to get around in PB, bikes or electric scooters (before 9pm) are fun to use. The online apps allow to unlock them but I have two bikes free of charge you can use, too. Otherwise Uber/Lyft is what a lot of people use and for the other parts of town I would recommend a car. Hertz is within walking distance from my place. There is a bus system but not recommendable due to long waits and the early end of service times.
