Elaboramos quesillo y queso fresco todos los días. Mi hijo Baldo compartirá su conocimiento acerca del mezcal, una cata en la cual podrás tomar degustar tanto como gustes, además de agua fresca, refrescos y jugos. Botanas? Claro que si, pero lo tienes que hacer al estilo oaxaqueño, lo que significa gusanos, chicatanas y chapulines. ¿Has escuchado algo sobre el metate y como se hacen las tortillas a mano? además de tortillas elaboraremos tetelas, memelas y tlayudas. Haremos diferentes salsas utilizando ingredientes de la temporada todo cocinado sobre comal, leña y brasas al carbón. El mole es un emblema de la cocina oaxaqueña y cocinaremos uno de los 7 moles utilizando el metate. No te puedes ir sin probar el mole negro, chocolate de agua, café de olla, nieves y un rico pastel. Todos participaran en los procesos, cortando, moliendo, elaborando salsas y por supuesto comiendo, recuerda cuando visitas una casa en Oaxaca tienes que venir con el estomago vacío. Enjoy the true outdoors with an easy 3/4 - 1 mile private nature hike hosted by a pack of loose, well trained German Shepherd Dogs. The hike starts at our farm in coastal Maine and wanders through a network of trails winding through a natural wild Maine forest. You will be hiking with a large pack of (5 to 12) loose german shepherd dogs of various ages who will want attention along the way! On the walk there are soft forest trails, sometimes mud puddles and slippery footing. Throughout our adventure you will learn tips on hiking with a pack of German Shepherds the way they communicate and what their body language means. Once we return there will be bathroom facilities, snacks and beverages. We will also talk about how we raise and imprint our young shepherds and prepare them as family companions. Your hosts for the nature walk will be either Jennifer, Katie, or both! We began offering pack walks at our open house for our German Shepherd Breeding program, and because of the enthusiasm and popularity, we decided to host this event through Airbnb. This hike is a carefully selected pack of our own German Shepherds. We do not allow visiting dogs to join on the pack hike. Children under two years old are FREE

Then, moving on to the unique experience of preparing an authentic Mexican meal from scratch! We try to always use traditional utensils, like metate and molcajete, to have a real cooking experience. Many of the dishes you will learn and help cook come from my own family’s cookbook. By the end of the class, we sit down in one table to share the food and the experience itself! This all happens in an ambiance full of joy, music and laughter, recreating the sense of fellowship and warmth of cooking at home with friends.

¡Bienvenidos a mi casa, su casa! Soy Mimi López Hernández y lo primero que haremos será cocinar nuestra propia salsa para nuestro auténtico desayuno oaxaqueño. Después vamos a conocer los ingredientes orgánicos que utilizaremos en nuestra receta tradicional de Oaxaca: unos de los famosos siete moles de Oaxaca y unos deliciosos tamales al estilo de nuestro valle; haremos un brindis con mezcal para iniciar la experiencia y manos a la obra. La cocina oaxaqueña esta representada mundialmente por famosos platillos que podremos preparar y así conozcas un poco más de nuestra forma de comerlos, estos platillos serán los que te llevarás en tu corazón y aprenderás a cómo hacerlo desde el principio hasta el fin. No olvides que te involucrarás en todos los procesos para que conozcas el significado cultural de cada uno, aprenderás a hacer tortillas a mano y ponerlas en el comal así que ven listo para ¡participar y comer!. Después de eso ahora si a la mesa, comeremos juntos lo que preparamos. We are a beginner friendly and will teach all riders EVERYTHING they need to know until they are 100% comfortable. $100 is due upon arrival, this is per jetski. 2 passengers are allowed on each jetski. Each reservation counts as 1 person/seat per group. If its a group of 6, you must reserve 6 seats and at least 3 jetski, but we always recommend single riders as Jetskis have a weight limit of 350. Acompáñame a una emocionante y divertida aventura en “buggy car”, la misma recorrerá paisajes y plantaciones de café, cacao y tabaco. Nota: hay posibilidades de que el vehículo se apague por el agua y el fango pero nuestro mecánicos estarán ahí para ayudarles. Los buggy son dobles para 2 personas y familiar para 4 ( Las reserva son de 2 personas en adelante ) El recorrido empieza desde el momento que estés en nuestro transporte , dura en total de aproximadamente de 4 horas desde el momento de la recogida. Visitaremos una casa típica dominicana donde conocerá los diferentes procesos y productos de los cultivos recorridos y podrá deleitarse de un mundo nuevo de sabores y olores de nuestra patria. Continuaremos el recorrido en “buggy car” hacia Playa Macao. Permítase nadar en sus refrescantes aguas. Luego conduciremos hasta llegar a una cueva subterránea de aguas cristalinas, donde podrá disfrutar de un exótico y refrescante baño. Será un día al aire libre lleno de diversión para aquellos que buscan gozar de la belleza natural de la República Dominicana. Se recogerá al grupo entre 7:30 a 8:20 de la mañana en sus hospedajes en el centro histórico. Comenzaremos visitando el poblado de Santa Maria el Tule en donde podrás contemplar el milenario árbol del Tule, después nos adentraremos a una comunidad zapoteca en donde se conservan diferentes tradiciones como las bodas, sus formas comunitarias de organización, su lengua y el manejo de textiles de lana siendo este ultimo uno de los mas finos y laboriosos procesos artesanales de Mexico, dando como resultado piezas de arte textil superiores a marcas de lujo, para esto conoceremos un Taller familiar en la comunidad de Teotitlán del Valle. Posterior a esto nos trasladaremos a una fabrica de mezcal en donde tendremos una explicación sobre el proceso de elaboración de mezcal en la fabrica para después tener una degustación de los mismos. También visitaras la zona arqueológica en Mitla pueblo mágico. después de conocer la impresionante zona arqueológica y antes de encaminarnos a Hierve el Agua tendremos un "time food" en un buffet de comida tradicional. finalmente nos adentraremos a las comunidades de la montaña para conocer las cascadas petrificadas de hierve el agua. Al terminar el recorrido regresaremos a la ciudad de Oaxaca y terminaremos el recorrido a una cuadra del Zócalo de la ciudad.

Al comienzo de la clase, empezamos describiendo todos los ingredientes que usaremos mientras compartimos la historia del plato, por qué es tan popular y cómo se presenta normalmente en nuestra región, Cartagena. Como parte de nuestra experiencia, te enseñaremos a preparar un aperitivo y un plato principal de principio a fin, con tus propias manos. Estarás pelando, cortando y sazonando todos los ingredientes según la tradición de Cartagena. Cada persona tendrá la oportunidad de hervir, freír o asar su comida, proporcionándote una experiencia culinaria única mientras degustas los platos que es posible que no hayas tenido la oportunidad de preparar antes. La clase se llevará a cabo tanto en inglés como en español, acompañada de música de fondo que armoniza e integra lo que estás aprendiendo con el contexto cultural e histórico del plato. Al finalizar nuestra clase, disfrutarás de una comida completa que no solo estará deliciosa, sino que también se convertirá en un recuerdo inolvidable de tu viaje a Colombia. Una vez que la experiencia con el chef esté completa, podrás elegir tu bebida preferida en una de nuestras zonas climatizadas, donde disfrutarás de tus deliciosas comidas.
