“Another amazing Lake Placid restaurant. I highly recommend the tofu tacos. If you are vegetarian - you can eat here too. The salmon is great, friends have had many of the items on this menu. The chips are made in house and wonderful. In the summer expect to wait for this delicious food. Wait times can be up to 2 hours. Eat early or late. In the summer they have live music and their outside deck is open. Here you get a fantastic view of Mirror Lake. A must on your restaurant tour of Lake Placid.”

“For a more upscale breakfast with an entire bloody mary menu, a slew of mimosa's and an absolute awesome eclectic menu. This is a great spot even though it can be pricey after drinks and food, well worth it. The pancakes with the cinnamon butter is probably the best I've ever had. No Jokes.”

“Several ice skating rinks where Olympic hopefuls practice and hockey teams play. Used for 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics. Next to Conference Center. I often wander in and sit and watch when there isn't an event requiring a ticket. The ice shavings from the Zamboni are placed outside the building for a photo opportunity to have a picture in front of "snow" in the summer.”

“There are two main lakes in Lake Placid. Mirror Lake is near the town. Lake Placid is north of town. A walk down main street for some shopping or eating is always worth the visit. There is a public beach for a summer swim, in the winter there is dog sleds, toboggan runs and ice skating. It's a great place to take the Kayaks.”
