Wildflower Farmhouse

Escape the hustle and bustle of city life without being too far from the conveniences you enjoy. Follow the 2-mile winding road along the Chippewa River to our beautiful early 1900’s farmhouse at the end of a dead-end road. Bike the Chippewa River Trail, hike the DNR land, fish or kayak the River and enjoy the events around Eau Claire. In the Winter months enjoy ski in-ski out cross-country skiing or snowshoeing at the Silvermine Ski Center. Bring your well behaved dog to our dog friendly home.

Get away from it all! This charming little home is perfectly located on a dead-end street, a short drive to either Menomonie or Eau Claire. Upon arriving, you will feel a sense of calmness and seclusion. Relax to the sounds of the falls and the birds singing. Wander the gardens and play in the spring fed lake. Read a book in the hammock or simply stare at the reflection on the calm lake. We offer a canoe, rowboat, 2 kayaks, and S.U.P for exploring as well as a grill and fire pit area.

Stroll 3 blocks behind cottage & walk along river to see Eau Claire's oldest lumber mansions. At south end of downtown, you're close to everything - shops, food, nightlife! One of kind stay! Perfect for two couples or a large group. Two bedrooms have queen beds and a back bunk room has 3 twin size and 1 full size bed. Big kitchen/living room area. There is a unique 4 seasons room with hammocks in the center of the apartment that is smoker friendly. Right downtown and above a friendly pub.
