Fox Den: cozy up north cabin

Perched along the shores of picturesque Sawyer Lake, the Fox Den offers fishing, and water-sports friendly waters. A nature lovers delight, unique birds frequent the property. Evening campfires offer broad clear views of the Milky Way. This quaint property offers use of an on-site dock that can accommodate a pontoon or a boat. There is a boat launch at the adjacent park. Sawyer lake is known for excellent fishing and no watercraft restrictions. In colder seasons warm up by the wood stove.

Surrounded by nature and with panoramic views of the quiet picturesque lake, you'll find the stresses of the hustle and bustle fade away. Start your morning off with the sun rising over the lake with a cup of coffee on the front deck, then set out on trails or kayaking, canoeing or even some fishing, then end your day around the fire pit. Perfect get away on a private island, with the true cabin experience!

My Mother's House

Need to get away from the rat race for a while? Want to forget your worries in a spacious and serene space? Come and enjoy the beauty I grew up with on the Michigamme River in Michigan's gorgeous Upper Peninsula. Spend your time on the property reading a book and soaking in the view, or enjoy a short trip to a nearby lake for kayaking, fishing or boating. In the winter months, Republic is a hub for snowmobilers with easy access to trails leading in any direction.

The Cedar Cabin at Pinecrest Northwoods

This 100 year old hand hewn log cabin is perched up on a bluff which looks out over Juncob Lake on one side, and The Michigamme River on the other. The top of the bluff offers a nice open area for admiring the lake, hammocking, stargazing, or a lawn game. Out the back entrance of the cabin there is a small system of trails to take you on a short hike along the Michigamme, or, you can stay inside and enjoy a warm beverage cozied up by the wood burning fireplace!

Little Bear Basic Getaway

This little house with starklink internet is a great starting point to explore the outdoors while staying connected. Nearby you'll find the Michigamme river (swim, kayak, and fish), the Iron Ore Heritage Trail, and other trails (walking, biking, sxs, and snowmobile) disc golf course, parks, great hunting, wildlife, and museums. A hardware store (premium gas), convince store, local bar (The Pine Grove), and diner (Summer Place) are great places to support in town.

Cozy Log Cabin In The Woods

This is a small log cabin located approximately 10 miles from downtown Marquette in a quiet neighborhood. Its nestled in the woods where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest but is still in close proximity to hiking, biking, cross country ski trails, and Marquette Mountain for downhill skiing and all Marquette has to offer. It is approximately 3 miles from the snowmobile trail and can be accessed using Green Garden Road. A very easy ride to the trail.

Republic Island- Your Own Private Island Oasis!

Escape the ordinary vacation. Relax or be adventurous. Fish your heart out! This historic (1800's), 3 bedroom, cedar log cabin is nestled within a 2 acre rustic private island on the Michigamme River, just 300 feet from the shoreline. Flexibility is key. You will need to row or take the simple pontoon with a basic electric motor over to your own private island.(Or let us know you need assistance, and we will make sure someone is there when you arrive.)

Mini Cabin Tucked Away In Moose Country

Enjoy a cute mini Cabin tucked away in the heart of moose country. Perfect for a couple get away, fishing, ATV riding or heaven for wildlife and dark sky photography. Great location for fishing with Michigamme River just up the road and Lake Michigamme round the corner. If you're into trail riding, Trail5 is a short distance away. The property is incredible for dark sky viewing and if you're lucky, you'll be able to experience the Northern Lights.

Enjoy a serene lake house experience on one of the Upper Peninsula’s largest inland lakes. Lake Michigamme is 4300 acres of water. Fish off the dock, watch the sunset, or lounge on one of several deck spaces. Full kitchen and grill available to fry up your catch!
