As you enter the ivy-covered Balinese gates, be prepared to be transported into another world! Also be prepared to walk the steps to the top. (70m incline) The view from the studio comes at a price and if you are prepared to walk the steps.... there's enormous gain when you reach the top. Woodland Cottage is the perfect romantic country escape for two. Stay and enjoy the indoor spa bath and outdoor courtyard or head out and explore Red Hill’s award-winning vineyards and local restaurants, including Many Little and Tedesca Osteria (The Age’s 2025 Regional Restaurant of the Year). Woodland Cottage is part of 'Hideaways at Red Hill'. A recent renovation (including a wall and sliding door added between the bedroom and bathroom for privacy) means pictures are a bit out of date.

My place is good for couples. There is only one bed room plus a sofa bed down stairs. Beauford Lodge is a peaceful semi-rural retreat, just over an hour from Melbourne, on the Mornington Peninsula. Wine, home made chocolate brownies and home made bread & jam for breakfast, (no Gluten free alternatives or other food intolerance's catered for).
