Bay View Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Perfectly situated right on the Te Araroa Trail, this is your ideal base for access to beautiful coastlines, gorgeous beaches and impressive local walks. The famous Mt Manaia trail is accessed right from the property, as is Mt Aubrey and the local coastal loop walk.  The cottage is situated on an acre of land which includes grassy areas, native trees and  a small pond. It's a short walk down the road to a small beach with old pohutukawa trees.

Located just 20 mins from Whangarei city, 1 min to Parua Bay village, (4 Square, 2 x cafes, bottle store, and garage). The famous Parua Bay family Tavern, boat ramp and golf course are located just down the road. Beautiful beaches, famous walks/hikes, diving and fishing are all within easy driving.

This modern fresh whare is set in an acre and a half of groomed paddock & established tree surrounds, all within a flat kilometre to the hub of Parua Bay. It's your chance to getaway with your furry or hoofed friend-yes-grazing for a horse is an optional extra & your dog is allowed too (outside).
