Omschrijving Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is gevestigd in Oostwoud in het hart van Westfriesland. Het is een cottage-achtige woning gelegen achter ons glasatelier in de diepe tuin aan het water. Het is te huur als B&B maar ook als vakantiewoning voor een langere periode. Er is o.a. een Grand Cafe De Post om de hoek waar heerlijk gegeten kan worden en een pizza eettentje Giovanni Midwoud die ook bezorgd. Er is tegen betaling een motorbootje aanwezig. Located in the protected natural area of the Zeevang polder land (EU Natura 2000), famous for its birds like godwits, spoonbills, and lapwings. The view it offers is among the most beautiful in the Netherlands. Middelie is very near Amsterdam (25 km). Other historical places like Edam, Volendam, Marken, Hoorn, and Alkmaar are never far away (5–30 min. by car).

Dit huisje bevind zich aan de achterkant van een boerderij, midden in een natuur-en vogelgebied in Noord-Holland op 30 min afstand van Amsterdam. Dichtbij Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Hoorn en het strand bij Egmond aan Zee.

Ons zelf ontworpen huisje ligt midden in de velden, op 45 minuten rijden van Amsterdam. Het staat op een kleinschalig recreatiepark, waar wij ook een ander huisje hebben onder de naam Familie Buitenhuys. Je slaapt in een volledig huisje met vloerverwarming en alle comfort. In de master bedroom staat een bad bij het raam, met uitzicht over de weilanden. Vanuit het bad zie je Nederland in zijn puurste vorm. Licht, eigenzinnig en speels ingedeeld. Maximaal 4 personen + baby.
