Canoeing on the Kickapoo in Ontario WI is 11 miles away: 45 minutes from The Dells (S) and La Crosse, WI and the Mississippi river (W).

The villa next door may also be available if you have a group larger than 10 .

The cabin is located 250 yards from a Class "A" trout stream and includes access to miles of biking roads as well as nearby kayaking opportunities! You also have access to the upper loft of the barn located just a stones throw away. The barn loft includes an honesty bar, pool and darts. I also accept campers/tents ($25/night). Pets are required to be kenneled if left unattended.

(maps for Amish tours located in the cupboard) We have Wild Cat Mountain State Park, 4 miles away for horseback riding, hiking trails, and a scenic overlook. As well as the Kickapoo Wild Life Reserve in Lafarge. There is Canoe, Kayak and tubing rentals at the Kickapoo River 3 miles away. Elroy-Sparta Bike trail is about 15 miles away. We are located off of Highway 33 between Cashton and Ontario WI.
