Our goal was to create a space for the entire family. The History of our Cabin started as Hoss's Country Store where we provided a general store for our community and the guests visiting our beautiful area next to the National Forest. We have always felt that taking care of our family and friends were the top priority. The Tacklebox

Your greatest fishing memories shoved into a cozy cabin. Angler's microwave, coffee maker, minifridge & dining table. Bunking quarters sleep a crew of three, Captain’s bedroom sports a Queen Bed & screened porch for sunsets & fish tales. Full bathroom, satellite TV, Wi-fi, charcoal grill, Mena Mountaintop Vista picnic and firepit shared space, ride-in access to Wolf Pen Gap ATV trails. There is no bad day of fishing & no bad day on the mountain. (Mena Mountaintop Cabins…Our Cabins are Tops!)

NEW OUACHITA RIVER CABIN DIRECTLY ON THE WATER!!!!

We do accept 1 small dog with a fee. Cabin is located just steps away from the Ouachita River. It has an awesome view of the river and is peaceful and quiet. You won't find a nicer cabin in this area. It has a big deck where you can sit and relax. It has a gas grill, Alexa command outdoor audio, and a swing set for the kids. It also has beautiful rock walkway leading down to the river with a lounging area and a charcoal grill and prepping table. You can swim or fish in front of the cabin.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Wet weather Creek, less than 1 mile to Mena highway frontage. From the cabin thru the creek to CR 50 for ATV access to National forest/Wolfpen Gap trails. Plenty of trailer parking. 3 miles of county road. Then 8 miles of beautiful national forest roads to ride to the wolf pen gap trails.

The Farmhouse Cottage is a mountain cabin residing near historic Bethesda Lake. Bethesda Lake is an 11 acre stocked spring fed mountain lake with extraordinary mountain views! Fishing/swimming/kayaking (kayaks provided)! Ride in to Wolf Pen Gap west trail head is 5-10 minutes away. It is located on paved roads and is about 4 miles from the city of Mena.
