Sweet Retreat

This studio-sized cabin is self-contained and approximately 100 meters from the main house. It has a very comfortable Queen-size bed with an electric blanket for colder months. A spacious deck with waterfall views and walnut trees compliments the cabin. It is situated on a 20-acre rural property, with a 20-minute drive to downtown Tauranga and a 10-minute drive to Bethlehem and Tauriko Crossing, offering dining and shopping options. Continental breakfast is included. Uber Eats also delivers!

A deliberately different, John Henderson designed, slightly quirky B & B in Bethlehem, Tauranga - situated next door too, and run by the owners of Somerset Cottage, a long established restaurant and cookschool. You are always welcome to join us at the restaurant on one of the nights we're open - Wednesday to Saturday ( bookings tend to be necessary), or we can bring a restaurant meal over to you in the Studio if you'd prefer to dine in private. We have a rustic cabin ,on a small lifestyle block. The cabin has 1 room with a double bed...a separate kitchen,which has a double gas ring cooker and fridge It is small and simple..a bush hut.. outside bathroom close by There is a small electric heater..electric blanket .. lots of animals close to waihi town,with all it's gold mining attractions.Close to the bike trail, and 12km from waihi beach.Lots of great bush walks and rivers to enjoy (can be insects. spiders..webs..)
