Welcome to Charlotte’s Place in the beautiful little town of Clarens in the Orange Free State. We have made every effort to make your time with us as comfortable as possible. During your stay you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity that Clarens has to offer and which is surrounded by the beautiful Maluti Mountains. Due to load shedding we have installed an inverter for your convenience as well as a tank to supply the house with water when the towns water pumps can’t pump due to load shedding

Mafube Mountain Retreat Garden Unit near Clarens

Mafube Mountain Retreat is a secluded guest farm about 25 minutes from Clarens and is a hikers and nature lover's paradise! It is situated in a stunning amphitheater of sandstone mountains, is child friendly and has very well defined Dinosaur footprints a short hike from the chalets. The Garden unit is a small self catering unit with one bedroom and which has space for two children sleeping in the lounge area. It is surrounded by a wilderness area and with breathtaking views from every window.

Ellen House Clarens

A unique space close to the centre of town, on the edge of the Clarens Nature Reserve with views of western mountains. Sleeps 4 in 2 air-conditioned double rooms with double beds and two bathrooms. Self catering kitchen, scullery, dining/living spacious area, patio and built in braai. Wifi and Smart TV provided - bring your personal DSTV and Netflix codes to access your favourite channels and sport. Wood burning indoor fire place, portable gas heater and electric blankets for cold evenings.

The home features three comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms, making it suitable for individuals, couples, families, or small groups. Guests enjoy full privacy, a peaceful atmosphere, and a very safe and quiet neighborhood.

This holiday home comprises 2 bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms, each fitted with a shower only. One bedroom has a double bed, the other, two singles. The home features a fully equipped kitchen, and a living and dining area. The house features a balcony overlooking the Maluti Mountains, equipped with a gas braai. There is one garage, and the living areas are accessed via a flight of stairs.

God's Gift The House

The House sleeps 4 guests and is adjacent to 2 cottages. It is within walking distance of the square (restaurants and shops). It has a fireplace as well as an enclosed build in braai area with 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath. Fully equipped kitchen (self catering) with a 4 plate gas stove an electrical oven, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster.

Neethling's Corner boasts ultra modern finishes, yet has a very cozy atmosphere. The house has three bedrooms with an extra lenght queen bed in each. Two full bathrooms. Enjoy breath taking views from the veranda whilst sitting in our swing chairs. The Clarens hub is only a stone's throw from the house.
