Pot Belly is one of our most popular cabins, small but spaceous at the same time. A view out every window, and out of sight of other cabins. The cabins are off the grid, you may not have cell service! There are lanterns for light and woodstoves for heat. Ski or hike out the door. In winter, the road is only plowed to the cabins, so it's like you're at the end of the earth. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is it! The cabin is only 6 miles from town and restaurants and shops.

Pincushion Mountain Haus is a light-filled Scandinavian modern retreat overlooking Grand Marais and Lake Superior. A private path leads you directly to the skiing and hiking trails that meander through the Superior National Forest and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Please note motorized vehicles are not allowed on the trails. The cabin itself is light filled and warm with four different sleeping spaces, two bedrooms, a loft and a downstairs family room.
