The cabin has a nice location right down by the Lyngenfjord. The panoramic view can be enjoyed from the living room window. Here you can enjoy the silence, and the place is perfect for those who love to go on top hikes. The cabin is spacious and modern and has everything needed for a cozy stay. The cabin has been renovated with a new bathroom, kitchen, living room and 3 bedrooms on the second floor. There is bed space for 6 people. There is a shoe dryer and drying cabinet in the outdoor shed.

Lovely cottage in Svensby, Lyngen. Beautiful location 10 m from the sea, in the middle of the Lyngen Alps. Only 90 minutes drive from Tromsø, including a short ferry trip. Northern lights wintertimes, midnight sun summertimes. Spectacular hiking tours all year. Velkommen til ei ny og fin hytte i landlige, majestetiske omgivelser i Lyngen. Stedet er like fint vinter som sommer. Om vinteren er det kort vei til unike fjelltopper for skikjøring. Likevel er det et unikt landskap slik at man også finner terreng for lettere skiturer. Om sommeren er uendelige turer å velge i, både til fots, til sykkel eller med båt. Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
