Doukenio-traditional stone house in Chora Amorgos

Doukenio is a traditional stone house that has been renovated in 2016. The building reserves most of its original architectural signs and it has a unique character. In the main building there is a small bedroom with a double bed built next to a stone and the living room with the fully equiped kitchen. Here we have a traditional sofa which can be converted into two single beds with normal mattresses. In the middle of the surrounding yard is situated the shower place (the ruins of an old oven -furnace) with the WC and there is enough space for relaxation outside. The house also has a veranda at the roof (fully equiped for resting) with unique views under the Medieval Castle and the aigian sea further away.

Το σπίτι μας βρίσκεται στην ομορφότερη περιοχή των Καταπόλων, το Ξυλοκερατίδι, έχει νότιο προσανατολισμό και απέχει 30 μέτρα από τη θάλασσα. Παρότι σε κεντρικό σημείο, το χαρακτηρίζει η ησυχία. Είναι πλήρως εξοπλισμένο και διαθέτει δύο άνετους χώρους, υπνοδωμάτιο με διπλό κρεβάτι και κουζίνα-καθιστικό με καναπέ που γίνεται διπλό κρεβάτι. Fisherman's House is located at Chora Amorgos. It is a traditional stone house and as we can go back in time it was build in 1700s. It is an independent house with a small kitchen, a bedroom, a living room and a large bathroom. At the private courtyard you can enjoy a wonderful breakfast in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. In 2020 the house was completely renovated.
