Bovenop het veluwe massief ligt het kleine dorpje Radio Kootwijk. Dit dorpje is rond 1920 ontstaan rondom "gebouw A" waarin destijds de lange golf zender stond voor de radio-telefoon verbinding met het toenmalige Nederlands Indië. En. later voor alle intercontinentale telefoon verbindingen TOR (telefoon over radio). Later verbindingen met schepen. Na sateliet overbodig geworden. Er wonen ongeveer 100 mensen en er is geen winkel te vinden. Kortom een plek voor wandelaars, fietsers en rustzoekers.

De oude schaapskooi is omgetoverd in een modern gastenverblijf voor gezinnen, gelegen in het coulisselandschap van de Gelderse Vallei, op ruime afstand van de woonboerderij. Het authentieke karakter is behouden gebleven met houten balken uit 1758 en een deels rietgedekt dak. Met uitzicht op oude eiken en een jong bos. OLED TV en goede Wifi (glasvezel) aanwezig evenals een afwasmachine, wasmachine en droger. De schaapskooi is geïsoleerd, met dubbel glas en wordt verwarmd middels vloerverwarming.

Kom tot rust bij de warmte van de open haard, ontspan met de zorgvuldig samengestelde LP-collectie, en neem een duik in de privé-hot tub terwijl u van de sterrenhemel geniet. Elk detail is ontworpen om sereniteit, privacy en comfort te bieden.

Historic farmhouse from 1864, centrally located between the Veluwe forests, heaths and sand drifts and the Veluwemeer the lake surrounding the new land of the polders. Enjoy the space, nature, tranquility and old fishing villages, while cities such as Zwolle, Amersfoort and Amsterdam are easily accessible. The house is equipped with every comfort and a large garden is available for the guests. We have room for 1-6 guests. We do serve an extensive and as much as possible organic breakfast.

Een fijne plek waar je je even helemaal terug kunt trekken, kunt verbinden met elkaar en tot rust kunt komen. Vanaf het huisje loop je binnen enkele minuten het bos is. Ontdek eindeloze fiets- en wandelroutes. De hond is welkom! Het chalet heeft een eigen parkeerplek, airconditioning en cv-installatie.

Luka's Hut, our beautiful eco-cabin, sits on the banks of the Ganzendiep river in Overijssel. Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.
