Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

There you will find independent shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a live music venue, the Picturedrome.

Weaver’s Den, a cosy countryside retreat

Weaver’s Den has a combined kitchen and living area leading out to an enclosed and private dog friendly garden. You will have a king sized bed, linens, towels, a shower room, hair dryer, fully equipped kitchen, smart TV, WI-FI, sofa, dining table and chairs, as well as outdoor furniture. We also provide you with breakfast items such as tea, coffee, bread, milk, eggs and condiments. There are also a few surprises! We also supply two dog bowls. The Den isn’t suitable for infants or children.

Characterful, unique and secluded late 17th century grade-II listed weaver's cottage with private fenced garden situated in the suburb of Fartown 1.4 miles from Huddersfield town centre and train station. There are excellent links from the train station to Manchester airport, Leeds, York and London via Wakefield. Bus stops are close by (for Huddersfield and Bradford) and there is easy access to the M62 (approximately 2 miles away). Taxis are available from Huddersfield train station.

Ideally located just 4 mins walk from the town centre. with its multitude of places to eat out and drink from romantic restaurants to family friendly diners and cozy real ale pubs to lively cocktail bars. many festivals of art, food and folk music throughout the year and of course, the famous Picturedrome music venue. Holmfirth has something for everyone, nestled in a beautiful setting, surrounded by the idyllic countryside of the Peak District and dales.

This is a beautiful country cottage. Full of antiques and oil painting. The entire cottage is to rent with 3 double bedrooms. The bedrooms are sumptuous with top of the range Egyptian bedding feather pillows and feather duvets. There’s one king sized bed . 1 Queen sized bed and 1 double bed. I renovated the place top to bottom a while ago . Guests will have 2 bathrooms. Because it is a family home, some belongings are still there. If you like minimalist style my home isn’t for you !
