Top of Our House Girdwood

This is an apartment on the top floor of our home in Girdwood with views of Alyeska, Fishes Breath, and Maxes Mountains. It is one mile from Alyeska ski resort, and near Virgin Creek Falls. It's a one bedroom with a king bed, full bath, kitchen, TV in the bedroom, and a kitchen table and couch. It is accessible by walking up two flights of stairs on the outside of the house. We live downstairs with a toddler who you will likely hear. Sometimes four wheel drive is needed in heavy snow.

The Bowman's Cabin is ideal for people wanting the privacy of their own Alaskan cabin with many modern comforts. This 2 bedroom cabin is yours entirely to yourself. It is situated directly next to Bear Creek and is just steps to Bear Creek Pond. The cabin has 2 queen size beds, a full-size couch pull-out, a twin-size couch pull-out, and a single roll-away bed. With your own deck, you can sit for hours watching the activities of the creek with an eagle's nest right next to the front door.

Yurt Stay on Working Farm/Homestead in Hope.

Our yurt is located in the heart of the Chugach National Forest, about 2 miles from downtown Hope. This is a camping experience similar to a Forest Service Cabin. There is no power or water on-site, so plan to bring water/charged batteries/sleeping bags for your stay. Accessible by car, Resurrection Pass Trail or bike, we are ideally situated for biking/hiking Hope trails, fishing, or enjoying a rafting trip on 6-Mile Creek. Our homestead has a small working farm and is 100% off-grid.

The Birch Yurt

Perfect for a relaxing getaway! Stay in our unique Yurts featuring a queen lofted bedroom, living area and private deck. This yurt does not have running water, but provides a modern glamping experience and amenities. There is a shared campground outhouse and access to the private bathroom and shower at Coldwater Lodge. Easy to drive to or fly into the Hope airstrip just a few minutes walk away. The cabin is comfy and unique although it does NOT have running water and is serviced by an outhouse. The queen bed and twin bed are upstairs making the cabin unsuitable for persons with mobility issues and children. NO PETS AND NO CHILDREN UNDER 12.
