¿Cómo puedo crear y editar conjuntos de reglas? (Transcripción del video)

  • Next we'll cover how to use the rule-sets feature to add special prices for specific dates, like seasons and holidays, and to apply a discount in bulk across many listings at once.
  • Hosts with 6 or more listings have access to create and edit rule-sets.
  • To create a rule-set, go to your Calendar tab and click on the side panel on the right-hand side of your page. Click on the “Create a rule-set” button
  • Give your rule-set a name and choose a color [type last-minute discount]. These names will be for your use only—guests won’t see them.
  • We’ll use a last-minute discount as the example here, but rule-sets can be used for a range of discounts and seasonal pricing settings. Click on Customize next to the rule-set type that you will create.
  • You will be prompted to choose your discount percentage along with the number of days before arrival the discount will begin appearing to guests.
  • In this example, we’ll set a 10% discount for guests booking within 5 days before their check-in date.
  • We will also set a higher 20% discount for guests booking 2 days in advance of their check-in date.
  • The 10 and 20% discounts will not stack on each other, this discount can only be booked when guests are making their reservation within 5 days before arrival or within 2 days before arrival.
  • If you already use a last minute discount with 2 or 5 days, your new rule-set can override those settings. [Click Save]
  • Next we’re going to apply the rule-set to the dates and listings of your choosing.
  • Click on the side panel and locate the rule-set that you just created.
  • Click on “Apply” and you will see a calendar. Choose your dates and click Select.
  • You will be prompted to choose the listings. You can select all listings or a batch of listings.
  • Click on “Apply Rule-Set”.
  • To check that you applied this correctly, look for the color designation that you chose when you set the rule-set up.
  • You can always go back and edit your rule-set using this side panel.
