Registration 

According to the Act of August 29, 1997 on hotel services and tour guide and tourist excursion leader services, entities providing hotel services (accommodation for tourists) must register in the relevant register of facilities.

Registration of uncategorized facilities in Krakow is handled by the Municipality of Krakow and the entry is free of charge. More information can be found on the website of the Municipality of Krakow or on the website of Accommodation Facilities in Krakow.

Uncategorised facilities include e.g. hostels, guest rooms, apartments, aparthotels and other (uncategorised) facilities providing accommodation services for tourists.

The register of categorised facilities, such as hotels, motels, campsites etc. is maintained by the Marshal of the Małopolska Region.

All listed accommodation facilities in accordance with current regulations must meet building, sanitary and fire safety requirements.
