Charming old house at Arnarstapi on the west coast

Our house is 80 years old and was originally built as the local store using building materials such as concrete mixed with lava from the glacier/volcano Snæfellsjökull. The house stands by the main-road and should, therefore, be easily accessible all year round. It is located 230 meters from the beautiful dock of Arnarstapi. A newly built porch stretches all around the house accessible from within the kitchen and the main entrance.

Each cabin has a private hot tub, perfect for stargazing and watching the Northern Lights. In winter, access is easy, as we clear snow with a snowblower or tractor as needed.

There are small cooking facilitys in the cabin with a fridge, water cattle, toaster, plate and microwave. You have very great conditions to see northern lights from september until april.
