Large picture windows for gazing at the bayou let in lots of natural light. Fully handicap accessible! Not suitable for children. Cleanliness and hospitality are our specialties! No pets!! 5🌟

Locust Street Cottage

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Built in 1830 and lovingly renovated for now, it’s a slice of Vicksburg’s past. The Old Courthouse museum is visible from the back courtyard and the historic downtown is just a short walk. There’s a brewery and several unique restaurants just a few blocks away in the downtown with fun shopping close by. Casinos and the National Military Park are just a short drive. Has a desk, if needed and internet provided.

Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. Some of these include Phil Bryant WMA, Sunflower WMA (Delta National Forest), Mahannah WMA, and Twin Oaks WMA.

There’s stocked firewood for campfires, board games, & propane for grilling!
