The house is a traditional Alentejo countryside house, restored with care and respect of its original spaces materials and atmosphere. The whole house is whitewashed. Floor is paved with handmade clay blocks. The large buttresses, the wide chimneys, and the shales stones anchor the house to the ground and tradition. Spaces are generous in dimension, light and ambience. The two hectares’ land offers sunny spaces shadowed by cork trees, views of the country and the ocean, and a tank of water.

The House with a natural swimming pool (uv filtered) is on the edge of the small village, overseeing the valley. Although in the middle of the countryside of Alentejo, the access is easy accessible for all cars. Sao Luis, the charming village nearby (5 km), you can find markets, restaurants and other services. It is 20min drive to the beaches of Vila nova de Milfontes

Lugar com cheiro a paz, entre artes e inspirações, é o ideal para um casal . Simples, mas muito acolhedora, fica entre o Castelo e a Praça principal. Tudo é logo ali. Tem jardim simples mas agradável, com uma piscina/jacuzzi ideal para se refrescar. Do quintal vê a aldeia da Luz, um pouco da barragem, laivos de um pôr do sol à espera de milhões de estrelas! Depois disto tudo ainda pode sair a pé por uma vila muito bonita e tomar um café pelas suas explanas. A noite é muito agradável.

Our home is an agricultural house renovated into an open plan loft with 3 bedrooms (2 in mezzanine open style/no privacy/no tall people) located in the traditional Alentejo hills and 30min drive from beaches and surf schools of the Vicentina Coast. The village of Cercal is 10 min drive away. We both grew up in the area since babies and therefore we love coming here throughout the year. Having this 'monte' is a refuge for us which we enjoy to connect with nature and the sea.

As it's an extremely quiet spot, the wifi network isn't very powerful, but it works (a good opportunity to get away from stress!).
