19 century house-Parna’s tadiontal home

Parna Cottage is a traditional wooden house in Samegrelo. One of the oldest buildings in the area, the house is 127 years old. Once you enter our cozy balcony and begin to take in the view, you will gradually get that special sense of joining the tradition and the natural world. Come and stay in the lovely residence, go swimming in the Abasha River at the foot of the garden, and dine in our restaurant while it serves home-cooked Megrelian food.Toilet and bathroom is in the first floor of house.

Our apartment is a part of a historical building, which was a home to many famous people and served as a background for the iconic Georgian movie “The Wedding”. The Parliament is just across the street, it takes 3 minutes to walk to Rustaveli Ave., the main vein of the city, to museums and restaurants (but you will be surprised how quite our street is), and 10 minutes – to the old town and all major sights.

Constructed in 1897, by architect Korneli Tatishchev next to the old funicular station it belongs to Gabashvili family. The apartment under the stairway is a one room flat with two beds and one bathroom. You will have access to public transportation, restaurants, cafes in just 1 minute walk.
