This home is 10 minutes from Grandfather mountain, and convenient to Sugar Mountain/Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock. If you enjoy the quiet, peaceful serenity of the mountains this is the house for you. Please note there is a 1/4 mile steep decent on an unpaved road to our house and a 4WD or AWD vehicle is strongly recommended.

Get away from the world and relax in a charming A-frame cabin only 12 Min from Downtown Blowing Rock and 25 Min from Downtown Boone. Wake up and enjoy coffee on the deck with the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountain views, and the sunset with friends and family around a private outdoor firepit. The cabin is set up for remote work or a lazy rainy day with a book. It is equipped with a full kitchen, two family rooms, high speed wi-fi, and abundant outdoor seating.

Catch bass from the deck! This cozy cabin sits on a 100 year old rock retaining wall and overlooks a 1 acre pond. Feels like you are in the mountains but only a 10 minute drive from Hickory. Functional bathroom w/ running hot water and climate controlled living space. Kitchenette with small refrigerator and microwave. The large front deck has lighting and a gas grill for cooking out. Plenty of wildlife around including deer, fox, & various birds.

Sunbear Cabin - Cycling/Hiking/Flyfishing

Surrounded on three sides by the Pisgah National Forest with a long-range mountain view from the deck, adventure awaits right outside the door. Sunbear also has high-speed internet for remote work and a backup generator. Cooler months offer backcountry hiking along creeks chocked with waterfalls off the eastern flank of the cabin. Summer features wildlife, Fireflies, and a nice quiet place to escape the summer heat.
