The Getaway Box sits serenely and privately in sub tropical rainforest gardens approx. 6kms from central Byron Bay. You are only a 5 minute drive from beaches, restaurants and shopping. Enjoy the best of both worlds - immersed in natural surrounds away from the hustle and bustle, it's hard to believe you are only minutes from the fun and attractions of Byron.

Sleep up in the canopies in a mezzanine bedroom, wake up to the song of birds + shower beneath the stars under a massive, old silky-oak tree. Step out the door + onto a bush track, which takes you through the Arakwal national park to a quiet beach with a sacred tea-tree lake. You are 200m from Byron's favourite cafe and restaurant, the Roadhouse, where you can have your coffee in the morning and cocktails and pizza in the evening.

Allawah Country Cottage is situated at the end of a quite country lane on a family owned 160-acre working cattle property only 4km (5 minutes by car) from the centre of Byron Bay and its world famous beaches. This fully self contained one bedroom light filled romantic cottage for two is a private retreat.(we also provide a porta cot for your little one) Stroll the property and enjoy the sights of grazing cattle ,horses ,donkey and birds. Rain Forest Retreat - 5 min from CBD

Quaint, private, self-contained cottage (studio) located on 5 acres. Just one other house on property (that my husband and I live in) which is barely in view. The property is an oasis of peace and tranquility, providing a welcome retreat after a day at the beach and only a very short drive to the CBD. Birds are always singing and wallabies often visit at dawn and dusk. No suitable for small children. Pets considered on a case by case basis. No parties.

Cosy self contained cabin with private access behind owners home screened/fenced off. 1 queen bed+single bed (trundle) used as day bed/lounge when not used as single bed. Private garden with birdlife + firepit (winter months use only). Bikes available.
