The Pod Over By

Our little family run luxury glamping pod has that 'close to nature' feel but with all the home comforts you need for a wee break away. Whether it be a few days exploring or just a much needed rest, you can enjoy the Scottish elements by day and cosy in at night with the underfloor heating toasting your feet. Our glamping pod is situated at the end of our garden. We will respect your privacy but you might get the odd hello from the neighbouring sheep and children may be playing in the garden.

Get away from it all in our shepherd's hut located just outside the village of Connel and only a ten minute drive from the bustling seaside town of Oban. The accommodation is located on our family croft (we live on site near to the shepherds hut) with ducks, hens, Hebridean sheep and our two ponies as your closest neighbours. Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.
