My guesthouse is a few blocks from the Arcata plaza, restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, art and culture. It is a 10 minute drive to beaches, 20 minute drive to scenic Trinidad and you can walk or bike to the marsh. You’ll love my place because it is near the heart of Arcata. Everything is at your fingertips. A couple blocks off the plaza means you will get the access without all the noise; a great combo. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families with kids.

Walkable to Cal Poly Humboldt, restaurants, and shopping, yet tucked away in its own serene surroundings. Extremely spacious layout, perfect for entertaining those in your group. A private driveway/multiple entrances allow ease of accessibility and safety. Enjoy a stroll through the immaculately maintained yard.

Arcata treetop apartment

Modern, light & airy one bedroom apartment, upstairs with the trees and sun. High ceilings, hardwood floors, quartz counter tops and a bar that seats four. Cal King size bed and a rollaway twin in the closet. You will feel like you're in your own private world. It's a pretty special place. And, for me, B & B stands for bed & breakfast. So I make sure you have something to eat in the morning. I can be flexible with check in and check out, if I don't have guests back to back. :-)

Located in what locals call Northtown, our Arcata home is a perfectly situated home base. You will find several eateries, cafes and a natural food grocery store all within a two block walk. You can access the two bridges over to the Cal Poly Humboldt campus a few blocks away and just beyond campus is the Arcata Community Forest with towering redwoods. Downtown Arcata is just a seven minute walk down the hill where you will find more restaurants and unique shops on the plaza.

Along with our local craftsman, we have created an oasis that will allow you to soak up the Redwoods, listen to the birds and watch the deer graze. Walking distance to the Majestic Arcata Community forest and Cal Poly Humboldt. As Arcata natives, we wanted to bring you a unique and unforgettable Humboldt experience.

It's a swell, safe neighborhood with professors, students, families. Outside the apartment door you may enjoy coffee or a cocktail at the garden table.
