The location is extraordinary as it has breathtaking view, abundant bird-life, spectacular nature and wildlife, country comfort and urban activities and service in town. Walking paths are along the lakes and to surrounding places. Minimum rental is 2 nights.

Wake up in silence with occasional bird songs and possibly lamb bleating . The cabin is a newly, well heated with WIFI connection. The kitchenette has a fridge, washing machine, coffee machine, small stove and an Air fryer. The bunker bed can sleep 3 children (2 young ones below and a bigger one or an adult above). The inside of the house is bright, because of the big windows and light colors inside. The house is located a 20 minutes drive from both Akureyri and Dalvík - two larger cities. Hope you will enjoy our cottage house and its surroundings. Hjalteyri offers a restaurant, art gallery and a public hot tub by the ocean.
